Before we break for the July 4th holiday, you can find us in Boston at the Festival of Genomics, June 27-29.  In its third year, FoG has grown to be one of the bigger annual celebrations of advances in genomics.  With free admission this year, some 2,500 people from the global genomics community are expected to be on-hand to connect one more time before the summer holiday season kicks in to high gear.

The Station X team will be based in the Data Zone (Stand #540) demonstrating GenePool.

GenePool is a secure SaaS platform that makes big genomics data manageable and meaningful. It greatly simplifies the logistical issues involved in dealing with genomic data and gets actionable information into the hands of biologists and clinicians quickly.

GenePool is equally at home in translational research organizations engaged in large-cohort biomarker discovery and in clinical institutions seeking a convenient way to store and analyze patient data and to produce customized reports for clinician review.

Whether the project involves cohorts of genomes, exomes, targeted sequences or transcriptomes, thousands of genomes can be compared in just seconds, identifying key genes and variants associated with clinical outcomes. GenePool was designed with experts in biomarker discovery, and includes as standard the key statistical analyses they use. Added to this are powerful filtering options, novel interactive visualizations and rich and up-to-date annotations. Data and results can be saved and shared with colleagues and collaborators, greatly accelerating time-to-results.

Please contact us if you’d like to meet in Boston or stop by our booth (#540), we’d be happy to tell you more about GenePool and answer any questions you have.
