• Be the scientific expert working alongside the sales team to provide  presales support,  present the software solutions to prospective customers, lead pre-sales engagements that require technical and scientific expertise
  • Help identify and engage with customers to understand scientific goals, use-cases, and needs to assess technical requirements and project proposals
  • Be able to translate and communicate customer requirements and software feedback internally to the development team
  • Provide domain expertise to help develop application notes, white papers, posters, presentations, and marketing collateral based on novel customer research goals and activities
  • Travel to attend industry conferences and tradeshows to represent the company


  • PhD or MS in biological sciences, molecular biology, genetics or related fields
  • Robust understanding of science, software applications, and technologies associated with molecular biology, NGS, genomics, and bioinformatics
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills with experience of delivering formal technical presentations to scientific audiences
  • Highly self-directed with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
